To ensure continued growth, MSC is looking for two Strategic Account Managers to develop, manage and implement noise & vibration solutions at both its automotive and non-automotive accounts. This is a great career opportunity for the right candidate.

Job Description:
The primary responsibility includes developing, managing and closing “quiet solutions” at the new domestic automakers, but will also include business development efforts at major consumer & industrial and electronic equipment manufacturers.

Job Requirements:
1. Education / Experience
- Engineering Degree prefer Mechanical, Acoustics, Noise & Vibration.
- MBA a plus.
- 5 years minimum experience in automotive industry.

2. Strategic Account Marketing Acumen
- Develop detailed, account specific, marketing plans.
- Perform following analyses: segmentation, SWOT, competitive, strategic plan.
- Devise strategies for: pricing, partnerships, product development, branding, communication, solution selling, and delivering value to assigned customers.
- Analyze balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and perform financial calculations for make vs. buy studies, and profitability analyses.
- Negotiate with customers and potential supplier partners.

3. Communication/Interpersonal Skills
- Research, outline and write complex business and marketing plans.
- Present plans, updates, proposals, etc. to individuals, groups, and leaders both within MSC and throughout the customer base.
- Prepare translation packages, presentations, press releases, brochures and other miscellaneous communication materials.
- Win support from co-workers and internal support functions for the marketing vision.
- Entertain and develop relationships throughout the customer base.
- Work closely with coworkers, sometimes jointly on a single account. Must possess a teamwork orientation with a willingness to do whatever the team requires for success.

4. Leadership Ability
- Provide guidance and leadership to sales/marketing team and numerous support functions.
- Work self-directed; take the initiative to improve processes, identify new opportunities, and make things happen to grow the business profitably.
- Take an active role in the success of the business; provide assistance wherever and whenever possible. Should be continually looking for ways to help the automotive team, even when such activities are outside the scope of direct responsibilities.
