MSC uses a combination of computer aided engineering
(CAE) tools and experimental tools to develop our products
towards specific NVH solutions. MSC has developed in-depth
experience in modeling and testing the detailed and
unique ways in which its NVH materials behave. We can
perform NVH computer simulations and physical tests
on anything from simple components to full systems.
MSC uses both commercially available technology and
proprietary methods developed in-house to simulate the
unique properties of our NVH materials.
Quiet Steel® is one family of MSC's NVH material
solutions. Quiet Steel® is a suite of engineered
multilayer composites with various viscoelastic cores
among layers of metal.
